SEGA GAME GEAR (1990-1997)
The colour portable of the Master system

Sega said "Me too!"  Sega wanted in on the portable gaming market and made it easy for themselves and used the Sega Master system engine for their GameGear portable machine, which would explain all the 8-bit remakes.  The games looked way better than their rival Gameboy counterparts, just look at games like Mortal Kombat, Mega Man, and Pac Man, but not the some of the newer Gameboy Color titles.

Unfortunately the Game Gear lost it's support when Sega decided to focused they're efforts on the Sega Saturn......... too bad, it could of lasted a lot longer.  Think of it as a bigger version of the Gameboy Color.  Be sure to look out for the new GameGear's by Masjesto.
Rating: 64/100
it's good but it lacks Puzzle games and RPG's compared to the gameboy's line up.

Rare Scale: 5/10 still common and dirt cheap but there are rarer designs on some of the Game Gear's like Virtua Fighter Artwork.

COOL GG TOYS
TV Tuner
The TV Tuner fits into the cartridge slot and it turns your Sega GameGear into a mini portable TV. A very rare device because it didn't sell too well.

Good points:
*Most Japanese and other import games will work on a North American Game Gear.

Bad points:
*The bulkly size of the thing, and the 6AA batteries don't last for very long either.

Common GG games:
Sonic 2 (pack in game)
World Series Baseball 95
Columns (pack in game)

Rarest GG games:
Mega Man
Shining Force: Final Conflict
Super Space Invaders
Phantasy Star Gaiden (Japanese)
Galaga 2

Top Ten (SHINING FORCE, SHINING FORCE!!)

4. MR. ROBOTNIX
5. BUST A MOVE
6. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
7. MS. PAC MAN
8. SHINOBI
