Here is the first ever CastleVania
game in 3D and if you're a hardcore fan of the series than you don't
wanna miss this one game. After another 100years of sleep, Count Dracula
is ready to raise again and only two warriors dare enter the house of
horrors to try and stop him.
Reinhardt Screndier, a descentent of the Belmont family, has been training
for this day when he learns of his doomed bloodline.
Carrie Fenizeal is a young spellcaster who's mother was killed by a
angry mob who thought she was a witch, now she enters Castlevania to
prove her power isn't evil.
It's a little confusing at first but this game easily becomes more in

December 1999)
Donkey Kong 64 was Nintendo's big holiday release in 1999 and some people
liked it and some people didn't. Here's my opinion on this huge 3d platform
game.
Donkey Kong must now rescue his friends and stop King Rrool plan of
destroying Donkey Kong Island. With 5unique characters (Donkey, Diddy,
Tiny, Lanky, and Chunky Kong) and more stuff to do than Super Mario64
or Banjo Kazooie before it, Donkey Kong64 should keep you busy for a
while. Plus the original 1981 Donkey Kong arcade game is in here too,
complete with all four levels. It's way too easy to get lost in this
huge 256meg game though but you still shouldn't miss it.

73 DR. MARIO 64 (Nintendo, April 2001)
Dr. Mario is back and the
big question is why? Sure! The Dr. Mario game was fun back than but
did anybody really want a sequel to Dr. Mario in the first pace, especially
on the all powerful N64? I wanted a sequel to Super Mario 64 and not
another puzzle game originally from the NES. This always seems to happen
when a Nintendo system starts to die, puzzle games like Wario's Woods
and Yoshi on the 8-bit NES and Tetris Attack on the SNES and here we
are now with the N64 close in demise with this game.
The really simple puzzle style gameplay returns has Mario drops multi-coloured
pills to kill all of the three different cute looking viruses in a huge
bottle. The game is so easy to learn that anyone could play it but that
was the major problem with the original game to begin with............
it was too simple when compared to other games like Super Mario or Tetris.
The difference now is that you can Save your high scores and other features
right to the cartridge (no memory pak needed) to increase the replay
value. There are also new play modes like Story, Classic and Endless
selections to try out if you like.
The graphics are fairly lackluster and it looks like a Super Nintendo
game and not an N64 game (not a single polygon to be found) and there
are only 4 music tracks available and they're really not that good either,
only the classic ones were interesting. You can tell that Dr. Mario
64 was produced on a small budget.
The 4player games are also a big bonus to already addictive and fun
game. Not bad for $40 Canadian but I would rent it first and try it
out on some friends before you lay down that kinda cash.

game was fairly entertaining because of the nice RPG elements. One game
is a Virtua Fighter/Tekken like game with 8realistic looking characters

96 LEGEND
OF ZELDA: Majora's Mask (Nintendo, October 26 2000)
With
the death of the N64 almost here, Nintendo actually releases another
Zelda sequel. Nintendo didn't even release a second Zelda game for the
Super Nintendo! How good can Majora's Mask be anyways, especially after
the amazing Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time? Not too bad actually, not
bad at all.
First off you NEED a Expansion Pak to play Majora's Mask, so if you
know you got one in the N64 Ram pak then you play the game. It's not
only contiunes where the Ocarira of Time left off but it introduces
new a 72hours mode............. don't finish the game in that time and
the whole world is destroyed. Very unique.
Link (the hero) is suddenly attacked after his horse Epony is spooked
by two sneaky fiaries. Link gets throw'd off his horse and he gets knocked
out. When Link wakes up he watches a strange kid with a huge mask on
looking and digging through some of his stuff. After a brief fight the
Masked kid escapes into a small cave and has Link enters the cave he
falls into a odd pit and teleported into an altered universe. To make
matters worse, Link is now transformed into an plantsrub creature by
the evil masked kid and the altered world he is now in is about to be
destroyed by the incoming moon in the sky. Link must now figure out
how to stop the moon from destroying the world before it's too late.
You
start your adventure in a huge clock tower that's part of a four part
town named Clock Town which is just under the freaky looking moon, it's
interesting to see the town people's reaction and worry has each day
goes by. There is a new guage at the bottom-middle at the screen to
measure just how time you have left and only certain objectives can
be completed at the right time so you're gonna need this new clock.
Another new thing about this new Zelda is now there is no way to Save
your game from the menu screen like in Ocarina of Time. To save your
game now you have to get back your sloten Ocarina that was a gift from
Princess Zelda (kinda annoying but that's the only way to save you progress).

Even
better that the original thanks to the new Shunt track and more cars.
The computer does tend to cheat in the one player modes making the game

SAN FRANCISCO RUSH 2049 (Midway, 2000)
Another
great sequel by Midway. The graphics are really improved and most of

originally suppose to be an Atari Jaguar game but it got canceled and
when Atari started to fall apart. Tetrisphere was then introduced has
a new N64 title but the game didn't really get a lot of hype or press
because of the lack of popularity of puzzle games at the time.
A very additive 3Dpuzzle game with tons of options and over a 100levels.

WCW BACKSTAGE ASSUALT (EA, December 15, 2000)
I
actaully liked this new wrestling game although it still has a lot of
the problems that plagued EA's WCW Mayham. First off the game looks
absolutely horrible with stiff and low detailed wrestlers and blurry
arenas but it's cool to unlock all of the secrets in the game like hidden
characters and more areas. Kinda addictive and very brutal.
One major complaint; why can't the great Lance Storm do his finishing
move 'The Maple Leaf', uh!?

This
new wrestling game by THQ features even better gameplay and more options
than last year's mega hit WWF Wrestlemania2000. It also has smoother
looks and less flickers all around. It's very easy to get into with
tons of modes like a Smackdown Mall to buy moves and items and a brand
new Survival mode, plus don't forget the new ladder matches and backstage
matches too. There's some slowdown on the 4player games but it's no

It's
