NEO
GEO (1990-1995)
a 24-bit fighter's system, but the
price was just too high.
Here's Samurai Shodown II, a game you can only
find on the
Neo Geo........ except in Japan.
SNK's NEO GEO is both a game
system and a series of arcade units too! The reason the game system never
caught on was the high price tag ranging from 400 to 600bucks with the games
ranging from 100 to 200bucks. Maybe some stores may have lower prices
today, if you can find one though. "What's the point?"
Well, there are some good and unique games here like Blue's Journey, Magician
Lord, and Samurai Shodown I & II.
You can also get a NEO GEO CD with cheaper CD games, but with 30sec load times.
Unfortunately, it didn't sell too well either. I don't own either one
of these systems so I can't give any review here at this time.
